Colonial Motors takes over KIA’s local agency

 Colonial Motors, the almost 100-year old motor car company, has taken over KIA Motors (Lanka) Ltd, which markets the popular South Korean car, with a Rs 20-million investment, the Colombo Stock Exchange was informed on Monday.

The company is now a fully, owned subsidiary of Colonial Motors and celebrates it centenary next year having being created in 1909.
